Contracts Of Employment Advice:

You may have concerns about your contract before you start a new job, during it, or when you want to leave. For example, if you are made redundant, there may be issues relating to notice, outstanding bonus entitlement and the enforceability of restrictive covenants.

There may also be issues about whether final salary payments, such as payment in lieu of notice, can be made free of tax. This again depends on how your employment contract is drafted.
